Brazil's Android Personal Finance App Performance in Q4 2023

As Q4 of 2023 wraps up, we take a look at how the top personal finance apps on the Android platform have performed in Brazil, courtesy of data from Sensor Tower.

Splitwise experienced a significant uptick in revenue, starting at $209K in late September and peaking at $1.13M in early December. Downloads for the app also saw a surge, particularly in the week of Christmas, jumping to 11.56K. Weekly active users (WAUs) fluctuated, with a notable dip in early November to 11.68K but recovering to 12.3K by the end of December.

BudgetBakers.com's Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker maintained consistent revenue around the $300 mark, with a slight drop to $230K at the end of December. Downloads showed more variability, with a spike to 993 in late October and a drop to zero in early December. WAUs demonstrated a gradual decline from 10.2K at the start of the quarter to 8.25K by its end.

AppFer SRL's Fast Budget - Expense Manager exhibited a steady revenue stream, hovering around the mid-$200Ks, with a dip to $201K in mid-December followed by a rebound to $252K. Downloads for the app were generally stable, with a slight increase to 1.55K by the quarter's end. WAUs showed a decrease overall, starting at 8.41K and ending at 6.74K.

YNAB saw its revenue fluctuate, with a notable decrease from $201K to $91K by the quarter's end. There were no reported downloads for YNAB during this period, and WAUs were minimal, beginning at 24 and dropping to 19 by late October.

Lastly, SPENDEE a.s.'s Spendee - Budget and Expense T showed a revenue range from $105K to $160K, with a closing figure of $129K. No downloads or WAUs were recorded for Spendee throughout the quarter.
